Twinkle Twinkle
Crystal gaze across
A room, pure and
Sweet, spring water
On a winters day.
A thousand stars twinkle
Merrily in a
Sky as black as
Rain. A new moon
Full though it may
Be, a new year
Empty as a cup
And a new life,
waiting to be lived.
A million stars
Twinkle listlessly
In a sky that is
Forever. Always just
Beyond my reach.
All the while 3
Voices sing, 2 together;
A duet of sin, and
One alone in angelic
Harmony. Pushed and
Pulled, torn and tumbled
Where might I find
My soul? Hidden in
The meek corners of a
Dusty
Forgotten room
Where goodness
Still lives on.
