Who’s colored counting stones
shimmer in the moonlight
But pale in comparison
to the shining crystal cities
built by math’s greatest champions:
The Engineers.
Who’s sparkling towers and gleaming silver
minarets reach to the heavens
grasping at infinity
and growing ever closer to
their goal
But the elusive
lady Infinity, sister of
the twins, Fate and Destiny
Will not be so
Easily caught by the
grasping and greedy hands
of mere mortal technicians.
No, she will dance
eternally among the stars,
ever mocking the
frustrated mortals,
who with every step closer
only find themselves further
