There is peace
white noise in place of crazy black chaos

there is blood
still content to flow
through a whole heart
and busted body

there are friends
happy to be there for her
happy to find her;
broken but alive
smiling but in pain

there is a shadow
one behind and one ahead
two hands about to clap

but for now it is alright
peaceful
a warm quiet wind
fresh air and calm
a white ribbon wrapped about them all
knotting them securely for the night
